About Cherie
"Singing requires more than just raw talent after 13 years of performing. I have worked with 147 students over the last decade.
My background is entirely self-taught through years of gigging in Nashville and Austin. I specialize in vocal health and care, rhythm and phrasing, performance confidence, vibrato control, belting technique, exam preparation, breathing control, microphone technique, and head and chest voice. It is genuinely fun to see someone finally find their own unique sound. Watching a student gain the confidence to sing in front of a room of people is the best part of my job."

"Air fills the room as you finally hit that high note with perfect control. The scent of coffee and the hum of a microphone set the stage for our productive time together. Practice is essential. I assign homework vocal drills after every session to ensure you stay sharp between our meetings.
These drills cover breath support and phrasing so you feel ready for any gig. My 13 years of stage experience inform every tip I provide to my students. You are welcome to join me for a session whenever you feel ready to start."
