About Emil
Teaching piano is how I share the joy of turning rough musical ideas into polished pieces. I find that 10 years of experience spent helping people really changes how I approach a new student.
Since working with 287 students, I understand that everyone has a unique hurdle to jump. My own journey includes a BM Music Production degree from Berklee College of Music.
I emphasize sight reading and proper hand position to ensure you play without tension. We focus on theory and memorization techniques to make the music stick. I see how music theory acts as a map for your creative voice. I just want to make the process simple.

You will find that your sessions are structured around a 7.0 system of progress that tracks your growth in pop and contemporary playing. Because I provide a short recorded playback of each session so students can review at home, you will never feel lost during your practice hours. We spend time on sight transposition and ear training to ensure your musicianship remains well-rounded and flexible. Having spent 10 years honing my craft, I use my Berklee background to help you refine your accompaniment skills and posture.
I truly enjoy watching a student gain the confidence to play their favorite songs with natural ease. It makes my day to see you succeed.
