About Spencer Coleman
Self-taught with 10 years of experience, I am here to ensure you grasp the fundamentals of lead guitar and improvisation. You deserve to understand the mechanics of your instrument whether it is tuning and maintenance or complex acoustic technique.
Barre chords and reading sheet music become manageable when broken down into clear steps. I have supported 215 students in finding their unique sound through songwriting and ear training. Grade exam prep is just one part of what we do. Reach out if you want to get playing.

You will find that your first session is centered entirely around the music you actually love to play. I start by taking your song requests and turning them into simplified arrangements that work for your current skill level. You will see how lead guitar and improvisation flow together when we break down the rhythm and phrasing. We treat every session as an opportunity to build your confidence for the stage.
My approach comes from 10 years of playing open mics where I learned that simplicity often wins. It is a rewarding feeling to play a song you enjoy from start to finish.
