About Rodrigo
Improvisation, soloing, and fingerpicking define my approach to the instrument. Electric technique matters.
I completed a BM Songwriting degree at VCA to broaden my understanding of how a guitar serves a song. My 13 years of experience include coaching 244 students through the tricky parts of reading tabs and mastering chord transitions.
Strumming patterns evolve once you understand the mechanics of maintenance and proper tuning. I guide you toward lead guitar playing that feels like a natural extension of your own musical ideas. Let us work together to realize your vision for your next song.

Sometimes I admit that the first 5 minutes of practice are the hardest. Your guitar lessons involve a blend of song-based learning and technical rigor. I lean on my 13 years of experience to fix your strumming or soloing roadblocks quickly. It is all about the music you want to play.
My VCA degree taught me that theory should always serve the song. We navigate through electric technique and chord transitions with a chill, gig-tested rhythm. Your goal of mastering the fretboard is exactly where we head.
