About Jason
I am a lifelong learner, I believe in the show, guide, watch, celebrate pattern for teaching/coaching, and that the best learning happens for students who have decided to own their own path, and pull in a coach, teachers, books, or other information sources and then find ways to apply things.
I have a degree in Computer Science, and prior to that studied electronics as a hobby, and then took some electrical engineering classes in college as well. Since graduating, I did data application development work, and then various IT and business analyst roles in the banking industry. I also am a Gallup certified Strengths(R) Coach and love to help people grow their talents and strengths, and see the value in other people.

Consider me an innovation mathematics coach. My goal is to help students take the initiative and learn actively. At the first meeting, I will ask questions about the motivations and goals, and do some assessment of existing skills. From there, we will talk about next steps with you as a student or you and your student. Then, we keep going, and build math * velocity.
