About Valencia
Music has been my constant companion for 11 years on stage and 13 years behind the piano. I recently counted that I have guided 497 students through the nuances of keys and chords. My Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music underpins every concept I share during our time together.
I enjoy working with intermediate learners and self-taught players who need a path forward. Piano skills grew naturally for me as I began accompanying my own voice students. I live in Denver and love a good cup of coffee before morning rehearsals.

Metronomes click steadily as we sharpen your rhythm and timing to build a solid foundation. My approach emphasizes quick feedback on scales and arpeggios to keep your fingers moving with grace.
I specialize in training adults and performance-focused students to master accompaniment skills for their own vocal work. With my Berklee training and 13 years of experience, we tackle grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity with total clarity. Ear training becomes an exciting part of the process during our time. You will find that playing while singing becomes the most enjoyable part of your practice.
