About Nicholas
Teaching singing happened because I wanted to help others find the same joy I discovered while gigging across the American South. 397 students have trusted me to fix their pitch and stage presence since I started this path 13 years ago. I hold a Diploma in Music Performance from Musicians Institute, which gives me the technical chops to back up my stage experience.
You will get plenty of help with tone and resonance, breathing control, and vocal health. I also focus heavily on diction and articulation to make sure your audience hears every word you say.
Whether you are dealing with range extension or just need confidence, I have seen it all. I keep things structured but joke around enough to keep the stress levels low. Reach out if you want to see how we can get started.

Singing together feels like a conversation where you happen to hit the right notes. We start with simple warm up exercises that wake your muscles up immediately. Adults, self-taught players, and kids all benefit from my focus on rhythm and phrasing during the session.
I bring in belting technique and exam preparation if you are looking for that specific type of challenge. You get a free trial lesson to check range and goals before we commit to anything else. Most students find that after a few weeks, their fear of the microphone starts to fade away. It is mostly just about keeping the voice healthy and having fun with it.
