About Samantha

Long before I was a teacher, I was first a tutor. Choosing a tutor is a significant step, and I want to take a moment to introduce myself, share my professional background, and outline what you can expect from our work together. My goal is to ensure you feel completely confident that you are in the right hands.

Beyond simply knowing the subject matter, I am a formally trained educator equipped with evidence-based teaching strategies. I have extensive experience designing rigorous, standards-aligned lesson plans and utilizing professional educational frameworks. Because of this background, I don't just help with homework—I diagnose learning gaps, build customized curriculums, and teach foundational academic skills that you can carry into any classroom.

My lessons involve breaking things down into manageable steps and helping figure out why you may be struggling with a skill, and provide balanced feedback to help you gain confidence and knowledge.
