About Alabi Temiloluwa
I'm a Physic undergraduate, data scientist, UX designer, and web designer. My studies fostered me to get into the tech world and since then I've not regretted that decision. I hope to someday create a community whereby beginners will find it easy to get knowledge and mentorship from experts.
The course will mainly be on how to create any form of a website, be it a blog, personal website, online store, business website, educational website, restaurant website, delivery website, booking website, school management system, news website, name it, any website of your choice. I'll teach you how to create such a website.

My teaching methodology is very simple. I base my classes on purely the practical aspects. We will build a lot of templates. We'll have like a week or 2 revision on HTML and CDs as those are the building blocks of websites. Then, we will discuss how to get a domain name and hosting and how to host locally on your laptop. We'll have a little introduction to the UI aspects of design.
I will teach you the basics of how to create a mockup of your design before starting the whole development process using Adobe XD. Why do you have to create a mockup? There is a very high possibility you can get stuck when building your website and you don't want this to happen, it's better you have a visual representation of how you want things to look. I'll teach you better design rudiments, color schemes, font, typography, size, etc...
WordPress is a CMS that is a central management system, it's not the only CMS we have, we have web-flow, Wix, etc... WordPress IMO is still the best out of them all.
We'll be making use of the best free resources. In WordPress, we make use of themes and plugins. Themes and plugins are like the functionalities that control both the frontend and the backend. We'll make use of page builders like elementor, brizy, divi, and Gutenberg. Page builders are synonymous with your HTML and CSS codes but instead, they consist of premade contents like if you want to create a button in HTML, you'll need to use the button code but with the use of a page builder, you'll just drag the button widget to the position you want it to be. Very easy and simple. We have a lot to learn.
