About Herbert
I am a university history lecturer instructing this course at universities in northeast Ohio. Three years of extensive research invested in this academic study which is presently on-going. Twenty-five years of teaching experience in American History on the middle and high school level. Also, president of the Friends of the Library: Warrensville HTS Library branch.

The church involvement in slavery is my academic specialty. For students of theology it is important to know that missionaries in the 19th century concealed the true meaning of the master servant relationship as sanctioned by God. More importantly students will have the knowledge to recognize misinterpreted biblical verses which endorse slavery. Theology students after completing this lesson will have the ability to fight and confront racial injustice with the pure word of God.
