About Ansh
A PhD graduate in theoretical particle physics from the Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology, Durham University.
I also hold an MSc in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces, and graduated with First Class Honours in MSci Physics with Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London.
I have been tutoring since 2014 for private tuition companies, as well as with agencies. I have worked one-on-one with students, but also with large groups in schools, more recently as a tutor in the government's National Tutoring Programme.
My research is on particle theory at the beginning of the universe. I'm investigating dark matter and the matter-antimatter asymmetry.
I have two published research papers in the field of theoretical physics.

Maths and physics are incredible subjects, but far too often they are taught poorly in schools and become scary topics for many students.
Over the past 10+ years, my approach to teaching has been to inspire students and instil in them a real passion for the subject - going beyond the curriculum when necessary to do so. I don't just want students to learn exam technique and answers by rote, but instead be able to actually understand the concepts.
As a published theoretical physicist undertaking cutting-edge research as part of my PhD, I am well qualified to teach and inspire students about maths, physics, and computer science. I have taught school students in Slough, London, and across the North of England with a number of agencies.
I am committed to safeguarding: I hold an enhanced DBS certificate which is updated annually.
I tutor GCSE and A Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, and am happy to provide mentoring to any budding theoretical physicists as well.
I am happy to arrange sessions between 1 and 2 hours in length.
