About Elsa
I have always been a point of contact for my peers to get help in maths and physics especially, and in sixth form I tutored both GCSE and A-level students for my school. I also have experience with younger students as I volunteered at a Breakfast Club for the local primary school where I also undertook a safeguarding course.
I am extremely passionate about my subjects and feel very strongly that every student can find a way to approach maths and physics in a way that allows them to be interested and engaged.
I got all A*s in my Maths, Further Maths and Physics A-levels, and got an 8 in Maths and a 7 in Physics GCSE.

I teach hour long lessons working on problem solving and improving on understanding of course material. I believe in applying skills learnt in lessons in order to gain deeper understanding. I do this by walking students through questions they find challenging and teaching skills that apply to wider contexts. Since I am so passionate about these topics I hope to teach my students to have fun whilst improving their chosen subject!
