About Daniel
I’m currently an undergraduate studying theoretical physics. I recently completed A-level maths and physics myself, so I understand both the course content and what the exams are like from a student’s perspective.
I decided to tutor because I remember how frustrating maths and physics questions can feel even when you know the topic. I enjoy helping students break problems down into clear steps so they can approach questions confidently on their own.
Students often find it easier to ask questions to someone closer to their age, and I aim to keep lessons calm, supportive and pressure-free while still focused on making real progress.
Outside of tutoring I spend most of my time studying and working on problem sheets at university, so I’m very used to explaining technical ideas clearly and patiently.

Hi, I’m a theoretical physics undergraduate offering online GCSE and A-level maths and physics tutoring.
I mainly help students who understand the lessons in school but get stuck when they start exam questions. In both maths and physics, many marks are lost because students don’t know how to begin a problem or which method to apply.
In our sessions we work through past paper questions together. I guide the student step-by-step: identifying what the question is asking, selecting the correct method or equations, substituting values and setting out answers clearly. The aim is for students to develop a method they can use independently in exams.
Lessons are one-to-one over Zoom and typically last 1 hour. I adjust the pace to the student and can focus on specific topics they find difficult, homework help, or preparation for upcoming mocks and exams.
I’m happy to arrange a short introductory call first to make sure I’m a good fit and that the student feels comfortable.
