My teaching style is rooted in building confidence, connecting math to real-life applications, and breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps while providing key tips and tricks to remember the rules. Teaching Method and Techniques I use a student-centered approach that blends direct instruction with inquiry-based learning. This means: - I assess what the student knows and where they’re struggling. - I use visual aids, manipulatives, and relatable examples to explain key concepts. - I reinforce learning through practice, reflection, and mini-assessments. - I check for understanding frequently and adjust my pace and strategies accordingly. I also integrate strategies like: - Scaffolded questioning to lead students to discover answers on their own - Math talk and vocabulary building to strengthen reasoning skills - Error analysis to help students learn from mistakes, not fear them A Typical Lesson Plan Each session is carefully planned but flexible.
