I start off by using the first lesson to gauge the level the students are at and noting down strengths and weaknesses and use this information to make a curriculum for them that we will follow over the next weeks/months. Each lesson plan I make is personalized for the student I will be teaching the concept to. I believe that contributes to a better learning experience. A typical lesson involves quick revision about the topic we covered in the previous lesson, an introduction to the concept we'll be covering that day, then getting deeper into the topics as the learner becomes more confident. My lessons are aimed at primary and high school learners (grades 4 - 12).
