About Nicole

Hey there! I’m Nicole, a 19-year-old with one foot in England and the other firmly planted in Russia—metaphorically, of course. I moved to the UK when I was 8, but my Russian roots run deep. Thanks to my mum’s dedication (and maybe a few friendly reminders to do my Russian homework), I’ve not only kept up with the language but aced my GCSEs and A-Levels in Russian. Growing up, while my friends were binge-watching British shows, I was also getting my fill of Russian TV, keeping one eye on the subtitles and the other on my Russian grammar books. In my spare time, I’m a bit of a bookworm, always on the hunt for the next great read. When I’m not buried in a novel, you’ll find me glued to a screen, catching up on the latest shows (in both English and Russian, of course), or playing some music—because what’s life without a good soundtrack?
