I had the opportunity to participate in Russian language classes given by Julia while she was doing her masters degree in Nizhny Novgorod (Teaching Russian as a foreign language) and I highly recommend her as a Russian language teacher!
I liked a lot how Julia combined theory/grammar and its practical application in everyday language. Her classes were very good prepared! We were watching and listening videos in russian, had different exercises (written, spoken, in small groups, etc.), and we were speaking a lot! And the best thing was that everything was going so smooth that 90 minutes passed in a flash!
The second thing I would like to mention is that Julia has a good feeling in personalizing her approach to the students. Advanced learners wont't be bored and those less advanced won't be lost during the class, even if they are in the same class. I speak from my own experience
