About Tessa
I have been a nurse for over 12 years and have most recently been working as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner for the last 6.5 years. Teaching plays a big role in my job, not only as a preceptor for other nurse practitioner and physician assistant students, but also for the families I see every day. It's my job to educate kids and parents on how to stay healthy, how to stay safe, and how to treat an illness or injury. I take pride in my ability to build rapport with my patients and families. I know I can build that same rapport when tutoring students who also want to make a difference in our ever-changing medical field.

I am flexible when it comes to lessons and teaching techniques. My goal is to make it easy for you to understand the material.
My expertise and lessons will be for undergraduate nursing students, pre-nursing students, and graduate level nursing students taking pediatric courses (Primary care management, pharmacology, etc)
