About Louisa
I pride myself on my hard-working nature and always strive to work to my highest potential. Therefore I seek to inspire others in this way to pursue their goals and ambitions, as well as push themselves to broaden their aspirations.
I have years of experience in leadership positions, working with and supporting others. Most recently, in my role as Head of Durham University's Freshers' Week, I exemplified both my highly organised nature and my initiative, as well as my empathetic and caring quality when helping nervous Freshers adapt to university life. I am continually relied upon to be a representative, delivering high quality work: I can be trusted to support and inspire you, and buttress your ability.
I am also really down-to-earth and approachable and would carry this into my teaching style!

Lessons would be one hour of personalised teaching to suit the needs of the student. As individuals, we cannot learn and grow based on a one-size-fits all approach, therefore I would take time to get to know my student and adapt my teaching style accordingly and lesson content accordingly. I teach those who are working at GCSE and A-Level in English Literature, History and German.
Having achieved straight grade 9s at GCSE, A*s at A-Level and currently working at a first in my English Literature degree, I am highly qualified to push students to work at a high level and master their subject.
