About Lachie
I'm Lachie and I'm a third year Mechanical Engineering and Economics student at Monash University, Melbourne.
I love understanding how the world works. Engineering, something that has interested me since I was young, has given me the opportunity to learn some of the intricacies of the physical world, and to connect with some of the brightest minds of our generation. Being able to build maths and physics concepts up to real world examples is eye opening.
Economics, and its other closely-associated fields, Politics and History, have also been my passion. They allow for an understanding of the world through a human lens. How do our societal systems work? How can we make them better? Even simply discussing these questions casually can allow us to find answers we didn't know we had.
I've found that working in collaboration with other students has allowed for us to complement each other, to fill in each other's knowledge gaps, and to offer fresh perspectives on challenging problems. My love for sharing knowledge began here - there's nothing like working through a problem together, to really understand its inner workings.

Teaches STEM lessons from a place of experience, these are hard concepts to grasp, and always require viewing the problem from multiple angles - it takes time!
I can teach lessons all the way through highschool level through to university.
Lesson lengths are flexible - based on preference. I would recommend 40-90 minutes in order to give time to grasp concepts, while not being so long as to break focus.
