About Yunus
Hi, my name is Yunus, and I am a third-year medical student with a genuine passion for Biology and teaching.
Biology has always been one of the subjects that came naturally to me. I found that I genuinely enjoyed understanding how different concepts connect rather than simply memorising information, and that interest eventually grew into a passion for helping other students understand the subject in the same way.
I completed my CIE A-Levels with an A in Biology, and I have been tutoring Biology for almost two years since graduating from high school. Over this time, I have really enjoyed working with students at different stages of their learning and seeing their confidence develop as difficult concepts begin to make sense.
My approach is patient, friendly, and understanding. I believe that every student can improve when they are taught in a way that works for them. My goal is not only to help students perform well in their exams, but also to help them genuinely understand and appreciate Biology.

My lessons are focused on building a strong understanding of Biology rather than simply memorising content. I prepare my own structured notes and teach each concept carefully, making sure students understand the reasoning behind what they are learning. A major part of my lessons is past paper practice, where I help students understand how to approach questions and structure their answers according to CIE expectations and mark schemes. Lessons typically last between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs and the topic being covered. I am currently a third-year medical student and completed my CIE A-Levels with an A in Biology. I have also been tutoring Biology for almost two years. My lessons are designed specifically for students studying CIE AS and A-Level Biology, helping them strengthen their understanding, improve their exam technique, and become more confident in the subject.
