About Robbie
I'm an 19-year-old male student, currently at Otago University. Maths and physics, once understood, are beautiful subjects. Such motivates my love of them, and it is my greatest aim in tutoring to transfer this love, and diminish the initial fear many experience when faced with them. I am no maths or physics genius, and instead have had to work to understand them. This however allows me to explain maths and physics concepts in a simple, methodical way that can be followed by all. It also gives me an awareness of the structure of maths and physics, having had to learn each step, which leads to effective lessons that build upon each other.

After recently completing NCEA and achieving the top grades in the school each year, and now experiencing maths and physics at a university level, I not only have a thorough theoretical knowledge, but also a strong first-hand understanding of the skills needed to succeed in NCEA maths and physics and the best methods to study for these. I would love use this knowledge to help other students achieve results they can be proud of. Both my parents are teachers, and have passed on their experience in designing effective lessons and establishing strong connections that allow a student to really excel to their potential.
