Why tutoring?
Pedagogy has always been close to me. My parents are teachers, so besides being a student, I've always had an insight into what it looks like from the other side. Moreover, when I started tutoring, for a completely simple reason - the schedule of classes at the University of Silesia did not allow me to take up a full-time job, I discovered that teaching knowledge can be satisfying and enjoyable. Instilling a love for the language that is slowly becoming my first language is what makes this work more enjoyable.

Moreover, I have been tutoring myself for half of my life. It still is. I went to language schools, I had private maths tutoring, and now I started learning Spanish.

About the lesson

I like to conduct classes using various methods so as to involve the student in the classes as much as possible. I like to use more traditional solutions (such as working with text, completing tasks with vocabulary, or a simple dialogue that tests the comprehensive knowledge of the student) as well as more influencing the imagination, i.e. interactive / board games to introduce grammar, or vocabulary and reading books at an appropriate level of language knowledge.

I have been a tutor for two years and in both cases they were children under 10. I consider 45 minutes for one hour of classes, but for the learning to be fruitful I always meet with students for two hours, i.e. . 90 minutes. Thanks to this, I can work through homework problems with the student, and then move on to explaining theories and doing exercises. As for the level, I feel comfortable teaching from zero to a maximum of B1.
