I am myself a student of English. My first language is Spanish, and I did not speak English until I was 18.
My point is that learning how to communicate in another language can be done. It is easy, you simply have to try.
Be ready to make mistakes. Try and try again. And understand that before you know it, you will stop listening to how you sound.
You just want to make sure you are understood.
