About Jenelle
I am a young professional and I have been helping children read for 10 years. I hold a bachelor's degree in History and American Sign Language and I understand how important literacy skills are in life. The younger students are when they begin additional literacy support, the more successful they will be both professionally and personally.

I base my classes on the needs of my students. With one on one sessions I can work with students on their reading and writing at a pace which they are comfortable. I believe that by using reading materials which are applicable to a person's age and interests, classes become more relevant for the student. When a student finds a class interesting and fun, they will participate more completely. The challenges of the English language are more easily conquered when they are accompanied by interesting stories and thrilling adventures. By working with students on their writing and reading skills in this manner, the skill set has a chance to develop without the additional pressures of a traditional classroom.
My classes are designed to be fun and engaging in the hopes that younger students can improve the skill sets required for the less entertaining aspects of formal education.
