My teaching method for Violin, Music Theory, and Ear Training reflects five years of helping students build accurate technique through thorough, patient, and encouraging coaching.
Thoroughness shapes how I approach every lesson, since I make sure each fundamental, from bow hold to finger placement, is solidly understood before moving to the next stage.
Patience is central to my teaching, since bowing control and intonation take real time to develop, so I never rush a student ahead before they feel ready.
Encouragement stays present throughout, since recognizing small improvements keeps students motivated through the more demanding stages of technical growth.
Lessons begin with posture, bow hold, and finger positioning, followed by scales and simple melodies to build muscle memory, along with early music theory basics like rhythm and note reading.
As students advance, I add intonation refinement, tone quality work, and ear training to sharpen pitch sense, along with basic performance preparation for interested students.
I adjust my teaching to match each student's personal goals, whether playing casually or working toward more advanced study. My aim is a thorough, patient space where every violin student grows steadily.
