My name is Yawar Ismail Khalid, and I'm thrilled to extend my services in the following areas and subjects:
Maths( calculus, probability, linear algebra etc)
Programing (C, C++, python, matlab etc )
AI core subjects and concepts like Machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning etc.
Additionally I can in things like GRE exam, TOEFL exam etc. Plus based on my academic experience I can help choose subjects, fields of study in your career.
With a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and extensive experience in both academic and research settings, I bring a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to help you excel in your studies.
My educational journey includes a Master of Science (Honors) in Computer Science from McGill University, where I focused on areas such as Robotics, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision. Additionally, I spent time as a PhD student at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, majoring in Engineering System Design. My coursework has covered a broad spectrum of advanced topics including Linear Optimization, Dynamic Programming, Stochastic Modeling, and Control Systems.
Throughout my academic career, I have engaged in significant research activities, contributing to the field of Electrical Engineering and related disciplines. As a PhD Researcher in the Department of Engineering Systems Design, I worked under the supervision of Dr. Yunjian Xu on various research topics related to energy optimization in Smart Grids. This work led to the publication of two papers, including one in a journal and one in a conference.
Additionally, my role as a Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical Engineering at LUMS involved working under the guidance of Dr. Naveed Ul Hassan on energy optimization in Smart Grid Communities. During this time, I published three papers, with two appearing in journals and one in a conference. These research projects not only honed my technical skills but also allowed me to contribute valuable insights to the field.
Here are some of my notable research publications::
"Demand Response Management for Power Throttling Air Conditioning Loads in Residential Smart Grids"**: This paper, presented at the IEEE International Conference on Smart Grid Communications (SmartGridComm) in Venice, Italy, explores innovative strategies for managing power loads in residential smart grids.
"Framework for Minimum User Participation Rate Determination to Achieve Specific Demand Response Management Objectives in Residential Smart Grids"**: Published in the International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems, this work provides a comprehensive framework for engaging users in demand response programs to optimize energy usage.
"Customer Engagement Plans for Peak Load Reduction in Residential Smart Grids"**: Featured in IEEE Transactions on Smart Grids, this paper discusses strategies for reducing peak load demands through effective customer engagement.
"Optimal Operation of Energy Storage with Random Renewable Generation and AC/DC Loads"**: Presented at the IEEE 55th Conference on Decision and Control, this research focuses on optimizing the operation of energy storage systems in the presence of variable renewable energy sources.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Yawar Ismail
