About Ergi
As someone who has placed painting at the center of his life, I want to share my experiences and discuss thinking with painting and creating language. I am a senior student at the Painting Department of Mimar Sinan University and I have been establishing painting dialogues with painters for a while now. I do not think there is a point to be reached in painting, I think it is a continuous path. I hope to meet those who want to be on this path.

I am here to discuss with those who feel the need to paint as a form of expression how they can create their own language of painting by establishing a dialogue through basic information and past masters.
I think that this dialogue is partly with the instructor, partly with the person himself, and partly with the world. As long as the desire to create one's own language continues, these dialogues can multiply in unlimited numbers. For me, the exciting part of art is this limitlessness.

Merhaba ben Yaren. Ergi’yle aynı atölyede 4 yıl boyunca yan yana resim yapma fırsatım oldu ve ikimiz de sanatla ilgilenen öğrencilere ders verdik. Kendisi öğrencilerin sanatsal yatkınlıklarını, özgünlük anlayışlarını sanat tarihiyle ilişkilendirerek geliştirmeye çalışan çok yönlü bir ressamdır. Sanatın standart bir süreçten geçen öğreniminden ziyade kişiye göre değişiklik gösterebilecek bir süreç olduğunu düşünür ve bu yönüyle resmin her türlü anlayışına saygı gösterir. Öğrencileriyle her zaman saygılı ve anlayışlı tavırda iletişim kurar. Resim sanatını bir ifade biçimi olarak benimseyen herkes için ideal bir yol göstericidir.
