About Daniel

My path in teaching began naturally years ago. From secondary school onwards, I discovered I had a knack for explaining mathematics; not because it was easy for me, but because I worked hard to understand the reasoning behind each step. This foundation allows me to translate abstract concepts into simple language that my students grasp immediately. As a graduate in Video Game Design and Development, my professional focus is linked to educational innovation. I firmly believe that learning shouldn't be a struggle or a tedious task. Therefore, I use my developer mindset to transform the subject matter into something that captures students' attention, employing gamification elements that greatly facilitate knowledge retention. In my experience as a private tutor, my students have consistently praised my patience, clarity, and dedication. I consider myself a very attentive and hardworking teacher whose absolute priority is to bring out the best in every student. I am passionate about teaching and seeing how, through innovation and a personal approach, someone who previously felt frustrated with a subject begins to gain confidence and enjoy the process.

About the lesson

Who am I and who am I teaching? I have a degree in Game Design and Development. I offer online programming classes (from beginners in any language to advanced levels in C++ and C#, including architecture, best practices, and Unity and Unreal Engine 5). I currently work in the video game industry and have professional experience at companies like Electronic Arts and Deimos Interactive. My methodology: Classes that aren't boring. I avoid lectures. My priority is for you to understand the "why" behind things through: - Relatable explanations: I use analogies from real life, video games, or TV series to make the theory meaningful. - Gamification: To maintain attention, I use tools like Kahoot quizzes and other educational games that make learning much more dynamic. - Practical approach: I focus on students actively participating by solving challenges, not just staring at a screen. Structure of a typical class: - Check-in (5 min): We review your progress, discuss any difficulties you've encountered that week, and answer any specific questions. - Review and Practice: We explain the necessary theory and immediately apply it with exercises. - Game Dynamics: A short challenge or educational game to reinforce what you've learned in an enjoyable way. - Closing: Answering final questions and planning the next session. Exclusive Materials and AI Support: As an extra to your own notes, I'll provide you with materials designed specifically for you. I use Artificial Intelligence to generate a wide variety of exercises with different levels of difficulty and tailored notes. All this material is personally reviewed by me to guarantee the highest quality and that it perfectly matches what you need to pass or improve your level. I focus on offering personalized support to each student to help them reach their full potential, tailoring everything to their needs.
