About Joshua

Providing clear instruction to 382 students over 13 years requires a deep understanding of how non-native speakers internalize complex grammar. You deserve an educator who recognizes that English is more than just a collection of phrasal verbs and strict rules.
Having earned a BA in French and ESL from the University of Toronto, I utilize a system that simplifies the logic of language. My focus on pronunciation, accent, and writing ensures that you feel confident during formal tasks.
Listening comprehension and reading comprehension are cornerstones of the methods I apply to every session. It is gratifying to watch students master the very idioms that once seemed impossible. I find great satisfaction in seeing the exact moment when the material clicks for you.
