About Precious
I am a current Biomedical Science undergraduate student at university, meaning I work with high-level science and mathematics every single day. I achieved Grades 7-9 (A-A*) across my own GCSEs and successfully completed my A-Levels at A*AAA. Beyond my academic credentials, I have direct experience working in educational representation and student ambassador roles, which has given me the communication tools needed to connect with young people, build their confidence, and make complex subjects genuinely engaging!

My maths and science tutoring is entirely goal-oriented and tailored to the unique pace of each student. Having successfully navigated my own GCSEs and A-Levels, I know that memorising textbooks isn't enough, as mastering the exam board's specific mark scheme is the real secret to success. I specialise in online tuition for GCSE students, SAT prep and ages 11-16+, particularly for anyone who is aiming to boost their grades and banish exam anxiety.
My online lessons are highly interactive and split into three distinct phases:
★ Breaking down concepts by using a digital whiteboard to simplify complex mathematical formulae or scientific concepts into clearer steps.
★ Practising with real past paper questions together and addressing misconceptions immediately so they don't become bad habits.
★ Focusing heavily on exam technique and time management to help decode exactly what an examiner is asking for.
Lessons are standardly 60 minutes long, which provides the perfect amount of time to cover a core topic, practise it and review progress without causing mental fatigue. However, for intensive GCSE or SAT cramming sessions, 90-minute sessions can be arranged upon request.
