About Wing Yue (Renalle)

Hi! I'm Wing :) I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce at the University of New South Wales. I completed the Cambridge CIE curriculum in New Zealand, where my passion for Business and Economics began. These subjects inspired me to pursue commerce at university, and now I’m excited to help other students build the same confidence and enjoyment in these areas. I'm a friendly and bubbly tutor who understands that every student starts at a different point—whether you're aiming to move from a C to a B, or pushing for that A*, I’m here to support you. If you're up for the challenge, I am too—let’s tackle it together! :))

About the lesson

Success in Economics and Business isn’t just about understanding theory—it’s about mastering how to apply that knowledge strategically in exams. In our lessons, I focus on helping you grasp key concepts and developing the exam techniques that make a real difference in your results.

I understand that every student learns differently, and I’m happy to adapt to suit the student’s preferred way of learning, whether answering specific questions or dedicating an entire lesson to a particular chapter or section. We'll begin by addressing any uncertainty in the theory, then guide the student through targeted past paper questions to build practical skills. I also provide exemplar responses to showcase how top achievers approach and structure their answers.

My past achievements include:
- Achieved A* in IGCSE and A-Level Business, and A* in AS and A-Level Economics
- Ranked Top in New Zealand for AS Business
- Consistently 1st in Cohort for IGCSE, AS, and A-Level Business, and A-Level Economics
- Winner of a national case competition (NSSCC)
- High scorer in national and international economics contests, including achieving high distinction in the NZ Economics Competition and 2nd globally in the World Economics Cup

With firsthand experience, I’m passionate about helping each student build the strategies and confidence needed to write strong essay responses and achieve success in their exams :)
