About Caleb
My name is Caleb! I grew up spending a lot of time outdoors and pursued higher education in biology, jumping from AP classes to a prestigious liberal arts college where I was able to do biology research in every upper division class I took, and gained insight into the intersectionality of the sciences. I have worked for Seattle Parks & Rec on a research grant to investigate the die-off of the native Sword Fern, and recently worked for the USDA doing vegetation surveys and ecological fieldwork in the great basin.

I teach students from middle-school to college level. My teaching method incorporates small meditation practices to reduce frustration and make the lesson more efficient. I will consult the student's coursework and create a lesson plan that is both complementary to the class and ensures the student meets and exceeds specific testing and learning requirements for their class. I understand the struggle of learning subjects that do not come easy, and the emotional, psychological background of each student that either promotes or reduces learning. Whatever issues are keeping a student from excelling will be gently addressed.
