About Ishan
I am Ishan a student who went to Queen Elizabeth’s School and is now going to University of Southampton to study Maths and Statistics. Having achieved 6 9s in GCSEs and an A* in Maths I feel confident in my ability to teach GCSE level maths and physics.

I believe that Maths is not just about memorising formulas, but about understanding the "why" behind the numbers. My lessons are relaxed and student-led. I use a "I do, We do, You do" approach—first I demonstrate a concept, then we solve a problem together, and finally, the student tries one independently to build confidence. I focus heavily on identifying gaps in knowledge from previous years that might be holding the student back.
