Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile.

My name is Vaios Alexiadis. I am a PhD Chemical Engineer with over 15 years of active research and industry experience across Europe, and I am here for two reasons above all else: to help university and PhD students become better researchers, and to help high school students earn their place at the university of their choice.

I have been exactly where you are. I know what it feels like to face a research problem with no clear direction, to struggle with a methodology chapter at midnight, or to stare at a chemistry exam topic and feel completely overwhelmed. I also know what it takes to move past those moments — because I have guided dozens of students through them.

For university and PhD students, my support goes well beyond explaining course material. I help you think like a researcher. That means developing a clear research framework, choosing the right methodology, interpreting your data with confidence, writing and structuring scientific papers, and understanding how the academic and industrial worlds actually connect. With 21 peer-reviewed publications and experience managing research projects worth up to €11 million, I offer you guidance that is rooted in real scientific practice — not just theory.

For high school students, my goal is simple: to get you into university. I prepare students thoroughly for university entrance examinations in Chemistry, building not just the knowledge you need to pass, but the depth of understanding that will serve you throughout your entire academic career. I want you to arrive at university ready — not just accepted.

I hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Patras, two Master's degrees in Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, and a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification in Project Management. My research career has taken me to Ghent University in Belgium, the University of Lille in France — where I worked in direct collaboration with Airbus — and leading industrial companies across Europe in hydrogen, battery technology, and advanced materials.

I teach in English and Greek, fully online, at times that work for you.
