About Jairam
Hello, my name is Jairam!
I am an enthusiastic and lively individual who enjoys teaching and helping students grow. I have a strong academic background, achieving top grades through independent study in my Cambridge A-Levels.
I achieved excellent results in 5 different A-Level subjects, including Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics and AS English Language.
Beginning my academic journey at a prestigious UK private school, and later going on to study independently, helped me develop versatile learning methods and strong problem-solving skills.
Having recently completed the Cambridge A-Level exams myself, I have a strong understanding of the common difficulties students face and the exam techniques needed to achieve high marks.
I have extensive experience studying the Cambridge International syllabus independently and working through a wide range of past papers and mark schemes.
Regularly helping peers understand complex topics and challenging questions has also helped me develop clear and effective ways of explaining difficult concepts.

I believe in an interactive approach that helps students develop a clear and confident understanding of topics.
My lessons include short recaps, thorough conceptual explanations, and application to exam-style questions. Using my resources — including notes, formula sheets, and summaries of common errors — students can continue learning and revising outside of lessons. I can offer lessons of various lengths; my personal suggestion would be 1-2 hours.
I am very flexible and happy to adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. Using my iPad and OneNote, we can work through problems together and keep track of progress clearly.
