About Lotte
Hey! I’m Lotte, and I’m here to make studying smarter, easier, and even (dare I say) enjoyable. I get it—some subjects feel impossible, but I promise, they’re not. With the right approach, you can master them just like I did. I graduated with a 99 ATAR, topping Physics and German, so I know what it takes to get top results. But more importantly, I know that success isn’t just about being “naturally smart”—it’s about learning the right way. That’s why I love tutoring: I get to show students how to actually understand their subjects, not just memorise and hope for the best. Beyond tutoring, I have a huge passion for languages, reading, writing, acting, and medicine. I love the way languages open up new ways of thinking, how storytelling brings ideas to life, and how medicine blends science with problem-solving. Learning has always been a big part of my life, and I want to pass that excitement on to my students. I’m not the kind of tutor who just throws information at you—I tailor every lesson to your learning style, break down tricky concepts in a way that actually makes sense, and give you the strategies that help you work smarter, not harder. Whether you’re aiming for a top ATAR, trying to wrap your head around a difficult topic, or just need a bit more confidence, I’ve got you. If you're ready to take your learning to the next level (without the stress), let’s make it happen!

My Approach to Tutoring I believe exceptional tutoring is never one-size-fits-all. While academic success matters, what truly transforms a student is learning how to think, how to connect with the material, and how to build real confidence. For me, it’s not just about content—it’s about connection. My sessions are tailored to each student’s learning style, whether they’re visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, or a mix. I take the time to understand what drives each learner, and whenever possible, I incorporate something they love—whether it’s football, books, coding, or Taylor Swift—into the lesson. That spark of interest often becomes the bridge to understanding difficult concepts. I also celebrate progress in all its forms. If a student walks away having learned something about themselves, their mindset, or even just feeling heard and capable, that’s a win. Lesson Structure Lessons are usually 60 minutes long, but I adapt the length and pace based on what suits the student best. Some thrive in 90-minute deep dives, others excel in shorter, high-impact sessions. A typical lesson includes: A quick recap to reinforce previous concepts and celebrate small wins Introduction of new material in a way that suits their learning style Guided practice and discussion, with step-by-step breakdowns of tricky problems Strategy tips: how to tackle exams, save time, and stay calm under pressure Space for reflection, curiosity, and even laughter—because learning can (and should) be enjoyable Qualifications & Experience I achieved a 98.95 ATAR (99 equivalent), placing in the top 1% of the country. I topped Physics and German, and I understand what it takes to succeed across multiple systems and learning environments. I’ve also studied medicine and philosophy, and I draw on both fields to bring empathy, structure, and critical thinking into my sessions. I’ve worked with a wide range of students—from high-achievers aiming for elite results to learners who need things explained in a completely fresh, clear way. My strength is identifying how each student learns best, and helping them get there. Who Are My Lessons For? Primary and GCSE students who want clear, creative, and confidence-building support Students who feel lost in class and need things broken down without judgement Learners who thrive with patient, structured guidance tailored to them Curious minds who want to go beyond memorisation and understand the why Anyone who wants tutoring that celebrates progress, not just marks I believe every student has the potential to succeed—and it’s my job to help unlock it. If you're looking for a tutor who brings both structure and heart, challenge and care, let’s get started.
