About Deth

My name is Deth, the founder of Quantum Education. I am a former Cambridge Medical Student and a top 1% scorer in the UK for Maths GCSE and A level. So far, I have been teaching math for 10 years, and I don’t intend to stop anytime soon!

Over that time, I have worked with over 100 students and counting...

The funny thing is, I wasn’t always a maths wizz.

In fact, I struggled - pretty badly!

When I scored a D in my GCSE mock I felt demoralised and downright stupid, which is a common feeling a lot of my students come to me with now.

However, I discovered that with a little encouragement and the right guidance, even the most frustrated student can experience a significant transformation. It's incredible how a change in perspective can impact not only academic performance but also a student's outlook on life as a whole. Now, this has become my primary focus with every child I assist.

I aspire to be a positive force in their lives, igniting a love for learning that extends far beyond our lessons together.

My goal is to nurture lifelong learners and inquisitive explorers of this ever-changing world—an essential skill for remaining competitive in the new economy. (ChatGPT, I'm looking at you!)

Teaching has offered me the opportunity to witness countless moments of transformation, seeing first-hand the growth, progress, and "aha!" moments that happen in each student’s journey. This gives me so much job satisfaction, which is why I want to share it with as many more students as I can.

I have spent the last few years of my life trying to decode the science behind these moments and how I can create more of them for my students in a reliable system that works. The students I taught that focused on these 3 key things always managed to do better than those students who didn't, despite seeming to work less!

That's why, I solely focus on these steps when I’m working with all of my students and the results have been incredible.
