About Jeffrey
Hello! I am Jeffrey Chen, an award-winning scholar in his junior year of high school, and I have a passion for mentoring others. I've had experience with students as young as six, and I've mentored many students and teams on cultural lessons, math/science topics, DECA, and the Chinese diabolo.
I've also placed highly in many academic competitions, for instance, I've placed fourth place internationally in the 2026 DECA Career Development Conference. In school, I'm top 4% of my class while balancing officer positions in various clubs (for example, I'm president of a chapter of a humanitarian organization), my filmmaking passion (I've directed 6 short films over my years in high school), and my social life.

I love teaching from an empathetic point of view, and I will always able to explain concepts or problems from different angles until you understand.
Whether you're a student who is confused by your teacher's explanations or someone who simply wants to learn about algebra, chemistry, DECA, or speech and debate, I'm here for you!
I'm adaptable to your needs, so let me know if you need help with a specific concept, or if you need somewhere to begin. I look forward to working with you!
