About Sultan

Hello! I’m Sultan, an incoming resident FY1 Doctor starting my Specialised Foundation Programme (Academic Research) at Cambridge University Hospitals this August. I am graduating from BSMS Medical school in the UK. Previously, I had secured Medicine offers from the University of Cambridge, UCL and Imperial College London. Medicine is fiercely competitive, however with the right support is do-able! My personal academic achievements include:
• Ranked 1st Place across my entire year for OSCE/clinical performance (Year 4).
• Awarded 6 Distinctions throughout medical school (awarded to the top 10% of the cohort).
• Publishing research materials on peer-reviewed journals including Nature and the Journal of Headache and Pain.
• Qualified ALS provider

Over 6 years, I have successfully mentored and tutored over 50 students. My past students have gone on to secure coveted places at top-tier UK universities to study STEM subjects. References are available on request.

How we will work together: I don't just teach you facts, because anybody can memorise information if they spend enough time. Instead we can work through the exact frameworks, communication techniques, and study strategies that took me to the top of my school cohort.

About the lesson

I can support you in 5 core areas:
• GCSE Science and Maths: I provide tailored 1-1 online tutoring which is specific to your exam board with use of question banks and mark schemes.
• Strategies that support learning disabilities and neurodivergence- this is an area many of my students struggled with, and also an area I have experience in researching, hence I am comfortable adjusting to your needs!
• The Medical School Application (UCAT, Personal Statements, & Interviews): Learn exactly how to stand out to admissions tutors. I have a 100% interview pass rate to date.
• OSCE & Clinical Skills Prep: I can help explain and provide feedback on history taking, data interpretation, and communication that examiners love in OSCE’s. We will practice mock stations under timed conditions until your delivery is flawless.
• Medical School UKMLA Finals: Breaking down complex pathophysiology and pharmacology into high-yield, easily digestible concepts to help you pass medical school exams.

Hourly Rates:
Medical school applications/ Interviews= from £110 ph
UKMLA & OSCE Preparation= £70 ph
GCSE Tuition= £45 ph
