About Molly

I’m a Statistical Sciences Honours student at the University of Cape Town. I completed my undergraduate in 2023 with distinction in Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Environmental Science, and History. I have four years of private tutoring experience in high school subjects, as well as 3 years of statistics tutoring through UCT and privately. I received 3 class medals for my third year statistics courses, and love to share what I learned and the methods I used! I really love to teach and work with others, and have met wonderful people through tutoring.

About the lesson

I'm a very friendly, patient tutor. My teaching method is catered to each student’s needs. The focus of my lessons is on building understanding and developing confidence. I find the best way to do this is through practice, so a clear discussion of the basics will be followed by lots of practice together!

I am happy to work on a certain topic for as long as it takes for a student to feel comfortable, though I also recognise the importance of getting things done! We'll work together to find the methods that work best for you, and that fit into your time schedule.

I received a certificate for a Level 5 TEFL course, which equipped me with a groundwork in various teaching strategies. Students may bring their own work or I can source material for lessons.

I really love meeting and helping people through tutoring, and would be delighted to work with you!
