About Anar
I am an Economics student, who very much enjoys teaching, and has been providing private tutoring for the last 3 months, teaching three students. I have received positive feedback from all the students, and I hope for that to continue. At GCSE I achieved 11 A*s and/or 9s, and for IB I achieved a total score of 40 points, with 7/7 points for both Maths and Chemistry.

My teaching approach is friendly, supportive and patient. I am willing to cover topics as many times as needed, until the student feels confident. My teaching style is very varied because I aim to find the most appropriate and effective teaching method to adapt to each student's individual learning style. For example, some students may initially prefer to be guided through a question step-by-step, whilst others may prefer to tackle the question individually. I provide materials for the student to use within the lessons, and can also provide materials for them to complete between lessons individually, for which I will later provide feedback and discuss with them. My overall aim is to help build their confidence in their chosen subject, so that they are able to tackle those subject questions with success.

I've known Anar for several years via school and her attitude is always bubbly, positive, yet professional. She is always ready to help and has a very comprehensive way of explaining tricky concepts, which makes her a great tutor.
Anar has helped me with Maths since I was 13 years old and she has been so beyond helpful! When I was having difficulty understanding surd calculations she explained it in a totally clear way that I had never thought of before, and she's really good at contextualising the concepts/using analogy too! You don't even need to be a 'mathsy' person to understand things the way she puts it. I would really recommend her help!
