As a current medical student at the University of Glasgow and a top UCAT scorer (2960, 95th percentile), I understand both the pressure and strategy behind acing the test. My lessons are tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges, with a focus on building confidence, timing, and critical thinking under pressure. I teach using a mix of worked examples, live practice with timed questions, and strategic breakdowns of each section (VR, DM, QR, SJT). I emphasise exam technique just as much as content, helping students develop pattern recognition, decision-making speed, and adaptive test strategies. Lessons are typically 1-2 hours long and include practice, review, and goal setting for independent study. I’ve tutored high-achieving students before, and my approach works best for Year 12–13 students (or gap year applicants) preparing for the UCAT in the summer or early autumn. I can also help younger students interested in medicine get a head start on test familiarisation. My goal is to make UCAT prep efficient, structured, and motivating—so you can feel confident walking into the exam.
