About Bonnie
I want to teach because I know that math can feel confusing or frustrating sometimes—but it doesn’t have to be. I became the dux of my year because I enjoy working hard, asking questions, and understanding how things work. I really enjoy helping others feel that “lightbulb moment” when something finally clicks. Being a tutor means I can share what I’ve learned, support other students, and hopefully make math feel easier and even fun!

Hi! I'm Bonnie, a Year 8 student and the dux of my year. I offer online tutoring for students in Years 3 to 7 who want to build confidence, improve their understanding, or get ahead in maths.
My lessons are friendly, clear, and adapted to how each student learns best. I break down tricky topics into simple steps and make sure everything is understood before moving on. Since I’m a student myself, I know how maths is taught in school—and I explain it in a way that makes sense.
I can also help with set homework, going through questions together and showing how to approach problems step by step. A typical lesson is 30 to 45 minutes, depending on what works best for the student.
I’ve supported classmates and younger students before, and I really enjoy helping others feel more confident with maths. Whether your child needs help catching up, keeping up, or extending their skills, I’m here to help in a supportive and relatable way.

I am a friend of Bonnie’s and for as long as I have known her she has always been extremely responsible and I definitely trust her. She is so organised and always has everything planned down to a tee. Overall definitely recommend
Bonnie tutors my two sons in years 4 and 6. She helps them with their assigned homework by their teachers as well as extending a little bit. This is all online and they only have one lesson a week but I have noticed their results improving. It is great because now I do not have to help them with their homework but I know that the concepts with be taught correctly and how they would learn it at school since she is an accomplished student herself.
