About Mateo
I am a twenty-seven-year-old Frenchman residing in the lower part of Manhattan. Although I was born in Paris, I studied in a French Private School in California until I was 18. I do guided tours in NYC for French visitors + I work at a French bistro-- and I sometimes go visit my family in the south of France.

Not only do I teach how to read, listen in french, but I teach the global culture of France and its people and its history of arts, literature, and also the culture of food, wine, caves and chateaus, cinema auteurs, michelin guides... i'm an open book when it comes to these topics.
Together we can discuss french literature classics, the traditions of french cuisine, understanding civilian rights, and exploring any topics of your interest while learning the french language... En avant pour l'aventure!
Open to any level, from zero knowledge to an old apprentice, I am the ideal new age teacher based in NYC!
