About Lauren
I never really set out to teach singing. For me, it started as a way to figure myself out—writing songs in my room, trying to say things I didn’t know how to say out loud, and having a strong voice. Over time, that turned into a career I’m incredibly grateful for. I’ve had the chance to release music with labels, and connect with people who relate to it, and be recognized in ways I never expected—whether that’s charting, touring, or being included on lists that spotlight artists. Those moments mean a lot, but they’ve never been the whole point for me.
My goal with teaching, is to approach it the same way I approach my own music: honestly and patiently.
Of course, the technical side—breath control, range, vocal health are majorly important. I’ve learned that along the way. But it's also about feeling motivated and proud of the steps you take to love your voice and feel comfortable using it!
So if you were my student, I’d probably ask you questions before I ever asked you to sing. Understanding your voice as more than an instrument—it’s part of your identity.
I don’t see myself as someone who molds singers into a certain shape. If anything, I’d want to help you figure out what makes you different and lean into that.
Your voice is already yours. The work is just learning how to trust it.

The most important thing is keeping your voice in shape like a muscle! A lot of people have great voices, but don't realize the damage they cause to their vocal cords when they're not used properly. Every lesson starts with a warm-up, and then we can focus on any song you'd like to learn how to sing and we'll make sure to expand your range, and find your style all while protecting that muscle! Staying consistent with warm-ups is so important and so is having fun doing it!

Perfect! Lauren is awesome! This is my first time taking singing lessons and Lauren made me feel comfortable from the start. She's an expert in her craft, has a great approach to teaching and her passion comes through. These are fun lessons that translate to quick progress - highly recommend!
Perfect! Lauren is seriously the GOAT. I am incredibly new to singing and the first lesson was a great experience. Laren is a very talented musician and has a lot to offer both new and experienced singers. She made what could have been a very awkward experience for a newbie very fun and judgement free. I would suggest anyone who wants to explore singing book a session with Lauren. You won't regret it!
