I have over 10 years of experience in writing, recording, performing on drums, specifically in the genres of jazz, pop, rock, metal, fusion, and R&B. I have toured the East Coast around 12 times with several musical artists across multiple genres, recorded on albums for several artists, and have been teaching my trade for over 7 years now.

My lessons focus on musicality with technique. I start with the basics, creating a strong foundation of understanding how to grip the sticks, read music, and play with confidence.
Students will not only refine their musical abilities, but their practice habits too. Understanding how to approach a new skill is essential to improvement. Students will learn how to approach a difficult task by breaking it down into digestible chunks, managing their mental focus, and staying focused.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, I tailor all of my lesson plans to each individual student. One size does NOT fit all when it comes to education!
No equipment needed, just some sticks to start!
