About Anna Marie

A USA BFA graduate, with working experience as in studio traditional animator, illustrator, storyboarder and freelance graphic designer.

I love to experiment with versatile traditional and digital artistic techniques as well as telling stories through my characters designs and animated motion.

About the lesson

Main topics to cover during class sessions: Perspective, Human Anatomy, Life Drawing for animation, Sketching, Character Design for Animation, Mixed Media Traditional Illustration, Traditional Animation.

For my sessions, I create a personalized program for each student in accordance to their creative interests and goals.

More About Online Sessions:

For the majority of topics, I will use digital tools such as Photoshop or ProCreate (on iPad) to demonstrate the creative process. Sessions will be conducted through Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet, depending on the students' preferences.

In instances where traditional mediums like watercolor or gouache are required, I will perform a demonstration using my phone camera to ensure clear visibility.

After each session, I will assign exercises to be completed as homework before the next session. These exercises can be done using either traditional or digital formats. The subsequent session will begin with troubleshooting the completed sketches/exercises and addressing any questions or challenges that arose during the drawing process.

Aside from English, I also conduct my sessions in Ukrainian and Russian languages.
