Over 22 years, taught numerous students, some of whom attained the black belt and all with practical defense; very fun but hard-working curriculum that includes application for almost everything. Curriculum includes basics, kata, and sparring, and tournament participation is optional.

I approach the class collectively, but focus on each student's progress individually, and test them when they are ready. All hand-on, gentle, never harsh, I demonstrate everything, making me the chief exemplar as well as the teacher. Good physical shape is encouraged with each step.
