About Elizabeth`

Hi everyone

I'm Beth and I'm a French and Spanish tutor. I loved studying languages throughout school and my undergraduate degree and excelled at grammar, translation, exam technique and coursework. It is still a passion I pursue in my spare time and I love sharing my enthusiasm with my students.

I have tutored from age 5 beginners French right up to A Level French and Spanish. I enjoy building my students confidence and helping them to realise their potential to succeed at a subject which is perceived as notoriously difficult. When learning languages, there is no doubt that the key to success is practice, practice and more practice. However, I have found it vital to also have fun and weave in authentic culture - this is why I spend time adapting my lessons to the student's interests to make sure they enjoy and engage what they are learning.

I have experience tutoring English grammar to Argentinian students in Buenos Aires, as well as to primary school students ahead of their 11 plus exams.

I would really love to see a few students regularly who just need to have their confidence built and barriers broken down to the joy of learning a language, which can open so many doors for them in later life.
